Braun manufactures both blade and burr coffee grinders. Their blade coffee grinders hold up to two and half ounces of coffee beans to make 12 cups of coffee. These grinders are really exceptional and include some finer detailing.
The transparent lid makes for easy monitoring of the grind. With two down-pointing ribs they guide beans toward the blades for even grinding. The grinder will not start unless the lid is securely in place and locked.
Design of the stainless-steel blades along with the 150-watt motor grinds beans efficiently without overheating them. The power cord gets wrapped in at the bottom for neat storage.
Braun burr grinders come with 14 grind settings and a precision milling system. These coffee mills grind coffee beans to any fineness without overheating them and spoiling their full flavor and aroma.
Two ranges of grind settings are marked. One for fine grinds suitable for espresso and Turkish-style coffee, and the other for coarser grinds suitable for drip machines, French presses, and percolators.
You may select a grind by twisting the ring under the coffee-bean container, which holds 8 ounces of beans and can be removed for cleaning. The ground-coffee container is permanently attached for convenience and has a rounded bottom to facilitate scooping. The timer dial is calibrated by the number of cups desired, so the grinder uses only the amount of beans immediately needed.
