Coffee grinders are the most common kitchen appliance used for the purpose of grinding beans. Initially the coffee grinders were only used for commercial purpose. But now it has occupied every countertop of the kitchen. Many people do not prefer buying coffee powder from the shops for the simple reason the time gap between the purchase and usage makes the coffee lose its freshness.

There are three types of blades, electrical blades, conical blades and burr blades. The texture of the coffee brewed depends on the type of blade used. The electric al blade that runs at the speed of 20,000 to 30,000 rpm will result in granulated coffee beans.
The burr blade that has a speed range of 10,000 to 20,000 rpm does not produce refined coffee powder. The conical burr with the speed range of less than 500rpm makes finely ground coffee powder.
The conical burr is the best blade to use as it runs at lower speed and does not allow the powder to get heated in the process of grinding and thus retain the quality of powder. There are several models with varied sizes, shapes and price range but the key factors that should be considered while buying are speed, safety, the cleaning process of the machine and durability. |
