This 1100-watt coffee maker brews up to 10 cups of coffee quickly and efficiently. Along with its bright, blue, illuminated LCD display, the units control panel offers simple push-button functions including "on/off", a fully programmable clock, a programmable timer/auto-on from 1 to 5 hours, and an aroma switch that can be set to maximize flavor for one to three cups when less coffee is desired. With a no-drip spout and a generous handle for easy pouring, the units double-wall stainless-steel vacuum carafe maintains flavor and temperature longer. A popular pause-and-serve function allows for pouring a cup midbrew, and an audible signal indicates when brewing is complete. Krups includes a soft-eject swing-out filter holder for easily adding ground coffee, and a magnified water-level indicator for high visibility. The machines 60-ounce water reservoir has a built-in water filtration system that removes chlorine and lime scale build-up to ensure better tasting coffee and longer machine life, while its automatic electronic de-scaling indicator measures brew time and calculates when de-scaling is necessary.
