Manual Vs. Electric Coffee Grinder
We dump the old technology and adopt new, this is how we do it. Earlier only hand manual grinders were the options for grinding beans. But now with the advent of more advanced technology we find electric coffee grinders in almost all the kitchens.
There are pros and cons of both types of grinders. In manual hand grinder the one has to move the crank by hand to grind the beans which requires energy as well as time, whereas the electric grinder grinds beans in just few seconds without putting in efforts. But the noise it makes while running is truly deafening. The hand grinders do not make noise while being operated by the user.
Many coffee enthusiasts and purist find the primitive hand made coffee grinders the best for they believe the electric grinders produce lot of heat that potentially burns the ground beans and thus spoil the taste of the coffee. Moreover some grinders also do not extract the bean oil which is responsible for coffee aroma. On the other hand the traditional grinder restores the natural flavor and aroma of the coffee.
Whichever coffee grinder you use either the manual coffee grinders or electric coffee grinders both have advantages as well as disadvantages and which one to use depends on the personal choice of the individual. |
